HAMMER UNIONS

Hammer Unions – NG Oil & Gas

At NG Oil & Gas, our Hammer Unions are engineered using high-grade steel forgings and manufactured with precise material selections suitable for each pressure rating. Built for the toughest oilfield applications, our hammer unions ensure secure, fast, and leak-proof connections in drilling, production, cementing, fracturing, and mud system operations.

Product Overview

NG Oil & Gas Hammer Unions are designed for quick, reliable, and tool-free connection of flowlines—especially where traditional flange assemblies are not practical.
Even when tank lines or flowlines are misaligned, our hammer unions provide tight, non-leaking seals, ensuring uninterrupted operations and enhanced safety.

Each union is composed of:
•Male Sub (Threaded Component): Welded onto the pipe or tank line.
•Female Sub (Nut Component): Houses the O-ring and seals the connection.
•Hammer Nut: Provides mechanical locking when tightened.

Once the male and female parts are aligned, the hammer nut is tightened using a hammer, ensuring a solid and dependable connection.

Sealing Mechanism

Our hammer unions feature a specially designed locked-in O-ring, compressed into a precision-machined “D”-shaped groove.
This advanced sealing system delivers:
•Excellent resistance to vibration
•Leak-tight sealing even under shock loading
•Fluid pressure handling capability up to 20,000 PSI, depending on the size and figure number

This ensures operational integrity across high-pressure systems and extreme working conditions.

Why Choose NG Oil & Gas Hammer Unions?
•Manufactured from premium steel forgings
•Designed for quick make-up and break-out
•Suitable for standard and sour service environments
•Compatible with industry-standard Figure series (FIG 602, 1002, 1502, etc.)
•High-pressure capability up to 20,000 PSI
•Long service life with excellent resistance to abrasion, pressure shocks & H₂S exposure
•Custom materials and color-coding available for operational requirements

This provides higher dimensional accuracy, reduced lead time, and cost savings for our clients.
•Custom-Manufactured for Critical Applications
Every connection can be produced to conform to API, ANSI, and other global standards, ensuring easy compatibility with existing flowline systems.

SWIVEL JOINTS

At NG OIL AND GAS, our swivel joints are engineered to meet the demanding requirements of modern fluid-transfer and movable piping systems. Swivel joints play a critical role in applications such as swiveling pipe assemblies, loading arms, and hose systems, where they help minimize mechanical stress and ensure smooth rotational movement. These joints are essential construction components that enhance system reliability, flexibility, and service life.

Depending on the application, a swivel joint may require multiple internal flow paths (canals) for the simultaneous inflow and outflow of media. NG OIL AND GAS provides swivel joints with anywhere from 2 up to 35 independent canals, each securely separated by high-performance sealing systems to prevent cross-contamination and leakage. Our swivel joints can be integrated into a wide variety of systems and environments.

We supply a complete range of swivel joints—including heavy-duty, lightweight, and highly mobile rotary swivel configurations. Our products are available in all standard industry sizes, from Fig 50 to Fig 2202, with options for 15,000 PSI non-stock cold working pressure to meet extreme operational conditions.
